Looking for a high budget movie that scored at least an 8/10 on IMDB. I dont know what to order from Netflix.

Not going to waste my time going through IMDB's ratings, but I just saw The Fourth Kind and it is an extremely disturbing, but good, movie.

other then that the majority of the good ones are found back in the 00s and 90s 80s and 70s all the way back to '62s goldfinger 007

Why does it have to be high budget? There are some really good mid/ low budget films. Anyhow, here are my recommendations. They're not based on budget and their order means nothing.

• Eastern Promises
• Watchmen
• The Bourne Trilogy
• Blood Diamond
• Children of Men
• Orphan

Here are some really good Indie Dramas. They all feature really odd stories and/ or characters which makes for really funny and interesting relationships and dialogue sequences.

1. Good Dick: A guy who works at a video rental store becomes infatuated with a female customer who regularly rents pornographic videos. Despite the fact that they are initially strangers toward one another, she allows him to move in with her when he no longer has a place to stay. They form this strange intimate, yet non-intimate relationship. It's very weird, but interesting.
2. A Good Heart: A bar owner suffers his fifth heart attack and decides that he should prepare for his death. During his stay at a hospital, he meets another patient, who's a well intentioned young man. The bar owner is played by Brian Cox. He's an old, miserable, and mean spirited. It's funny because he takes the young man in as his heir and imposes the responsibility of inheriting and running the bar, after only having met him. The stark contrast in their personalities makes them a really odd and funny pair. The film also has some really funny and interesting dialogue. I love the scenes where the old bar owner becomes upset with the young man for not being in complete harmony with his plans, despite the fact that the young man never asked for any responsibility.
3. The Vicious Kind: An older brother agrees to drive his younger brother and his younger brother's girlfriend to their father's house, which is in another town where he also lives. During the trip, he notices how attractive his younger brother's girlfriend is and becomes infatuated with her. The problem is that his infatuation is couple with disgust because he thinks all attractive girls are **** and "sluts". [spoiler] There's one part where he sends her pictures of himself having sex with a prostitute. [/spoiler]
4. Before The Devil Knows You're Dead: Two brothers botch a robbery attempt...on their own parent's jewelry store. Some really really bad things happen as a result of what happened during the botched attempt. Family members do things toward one another that no family member should ever do, even when you consider what happened. It's a dark and gritty film.
