Just list any movies that you felt very moved by, made you cry or came close to making your cry.

^^ Just saw this one and it was very good. Follows an autistic young boy who gets bullied at school non stop, and who also trys to get away from his bullying by playing an online rpg.

Might not sound like a toughing, emotional or moving film, but for me bullying is something i always hated, and use to get suspended from school alot when i was younger for stopping bullys from beating up or hurting other kids. I just hate to see someone tease and but up others, so yeah this movie touched me.

Also i dont have Autism, but i have a friend who does. Also ive had my share of health issues (related to my spine/back problems ive had since i was born) over the years, that has kept me in the hospital/in bed alot. So i guess that kind of made me enjoy/appreciate this movie alittle more. Anyways, check it out if you get the chance.

Here is a short part of a review for this movie by Brian Miller from LA Weekly"The best movie I've seen about teen angst since Donnie Darko comes from Belgium?"

Another movie that was very touching to me when i was younger.

Please post yours!

Thanks for the posts!

Just list a movie that you felt very touched by or emotional after. Dont have to have cried or almost cried.

Just wondering what movies really touched people.

I loved that movie. It a visually crafted masterpiece, but it didn't draw any tears from me.

I'm embarassed to admit I recently cried watching Planes, Trains and Automobiles. Who would have thought Steve Martin and John Candy were one of my buttons.

I wish those two woudl ahve done more movies together, they where a perfect fit. And i wish Steve Martin would do more movie slike his old classics (PLanes Trains and The Jerk are soo good hehe). Instead of only getting asked to do Pink Panther and Cheap By The Dozen movies ):

That was a very touching movie, co-sign. Probably the best acting Will Smith has done imo.

I have to be honest, I Am Sam almost got one out of me.
Also, I have to mention, the acting was brilliant...that's hardly Sean Penn in that picture.

That made me seriously depressed. I was also sad when Tom Hanks lost Wilson, threw away his oars and lost the will to live at the end of Castaway.

ive been trying to see "my left foot" for a while now, but i cant find it at blockbuster. ill have to get entflix or something.

anyway, the movie that got me the most emotional was million dollar baby. there were some strong performances and an ending that was very well earned. it also helped that i dont know gaelic.

Though I have never actually cried from a movie, a few have gotten me close. Pursuit of Happiness and the end of Saving Private Ryan come to mind. The end of Terminator 2 as well...

At the very end of Return of the King, gets me every time. The part at the Grey Havens, when Frodo & Gandalf leave, is just so well done and sad it's impossible not to tear up a little.

Did you ever watch the extras for that movie? Apparently, they had to redo that entire scene. Pretty amazing they could pull it off again, as emotionally exhausting as it was to the actors involved.

Movies that made me cry: - Brokeback Mountain The scene where jack tells ennis that he doesn't know how to quit him and ennis breaks down, was so sad. Also the end where Ennis went to Jacks house and finds their shirts hanging together in the closet, when he smells the shirt of Jack, that made me cry my eyes out. - Dancer in the Dark This whole movie was so sad and unfair, Bjork was amazing in it. How she had to work with those machines while she could hardly see anything and how she had to accept low paying side jobs to save money for her son's eye operation. It was all so very sad, I felt so sorry for her. - 1 Litre of tears (the japanese series) I don't know if you guys know this one, it's a real story about a japanese girl that suffers from a brain desease. Gradually she loses control over her muscles, which will eventually kill her. It's so sad to see her lose everything, at one point she gets hospitalized and she misses her parents, so at night she drags herself to a phone in the hallway to call her mother. But she couldn't control her fingers fast enough anymore to dial the number, so the line keeps disconnecting. I couldn't keep my eyes dry, it was so sad.
