District 9 certainly doesn't need a sequel, but that's one of the more recent movies I've seen in which a sequel could potentially be even more fascinating than the original. As a social commentary, a sequel to District 9 could potentially have a LOT of potential.

A proper sequel to starship troopers.. One with you know? An actual thing they could call a decent budget.

I think the Big Lebowski 2 would be awesome.

I agree with this. movie was so awesome. but would it be called district 10 or district 9 2?

Zombieland definitely needs a sequel, so glad it is getting one.

PS : District 10 has already been confirmed and begins principal shooting in October.

i for one am totally against sequels for the most part but if i had to choose i would definitely go with district 9 like a lot of people in this thread have already stated. i would also be interested in seeing a sequel to anchorman or spawn

I know many people didn't like this movie but I thought it was great even though it got off to slow a start.

Superman Returns

to bad they are going to reboot the entire superman series. I wish they would actually stick with the plot line and keep the movie moving forward. It's getting boring seeing superman not really progress as a character and fight the same battles over and over and over again. The movie grossed almost one hundred million more then it took make so it's not like they didn't get a profit.

They could have done a lot with the sequel.
