I didn't even know what Twilight was until the time the second one was coming out. A friend rented the first to show me and it wasn't bad. I'm not one for love stories but it was well done and kept my attention. That said, it wasn't enough for me to like the second and see the third. Good movie though.

Dukes of Hazzard. I thought it would be kind of funny, but mostly stupid, so I didn't bother watching it. Then my wife checked it out from the library, but the joke was on her, because she checked out the unrated version, and the naked boobs made up for all the stupid stuff.

Iron Man was the movie I did not want to see. It took my boyfriend and I a year after it came out to finally watch it. Glad we finally did!

I was like9 or 10when I saw that in 2002 I think it was ? I couldn't stop saying just keep swimming. Loved that movie as a kid.

________

I got dragged into Shutter Island by a few friends. Thought it would just be another horror but it was pretty good.

I didn't want to watch Going the Distance when my Mom rented it the other day. I watched it and it was pretty funny, maybe not a good story, but I liked all the actors (cept Drew Barrymore)

Easy A - I've been pretty critical about how boring the subject of America's wanting to lose their virginity is but this movie was smart, funny and original. Such a nice surprise.

The Breakfast Club. Can't say I loved it but it did turn out MUCH better than I thought it would be.

Also Inception, I actually wanted to see it but it's called "El Origen" in spanish, which sounded horrible IMO, and the "artwork" (poster or whatever is called) looked pretty bad so I never thought I'd watch it but I just watched it and I loved it.

Also:

Iron Man: Thought it would be horrible but I watched it on TV one day and I really liked it.

Up: I never thought i'd watch it but I saw it on TV and it was pretty good.

The Man Who Would Be King: My dad made me watch it and I have to say it was very good.

Eregon, I heard so much bad stuff about this movie but I got it for Xmas and I loved it, just a shame nobody else did, it ended on such a lame cliffhanger that could have easily been solved with another 30 minutes of story and 30 minutes less pointless side stories that don't get followed up.

Star Wars IV. Star Wars: Episode 1 was my first Star Wars movie as a kid and it left a prettyhorrible impression of Star Wars until my friends persuaded me to watch the original trilogy.

Yeah, when I saw a commercial for it I thought it sounded exactly like the scarlet letter. I don't really watch that many movies, but I decided to watch Citizen Kane on tv a few months ago because I was bored, and thought it would be good, but didn't expect it to be so great.
