Two different eras.. Tough to tell, if Ali can handle Tyson's power.. Ali would win.. Tyson never does well on fights that go to the later rounds, he was always known for fast victories..

Of course they have never fought. How old are you TC? The fight with both of them in their prime would be a great match because Ali wasnt really strong, but he was a very smart boxer, whereas Tyson in his prime was just an athletic powerhouse. I would pick Ali though.

They haven't fought... Mike Tyson is 24 years younger. Mike Tyson was about 10 years old during the Rumble in the Jungle and the Thrilla in Manilla... Ali was done with fighting about 5 years later.

Yeah Ali probably would do what he did to George Foreman.. Rope-a-dope him into exhaustion, than attack.

Yup, I agree that Ali would control the tempo and rope-a-dope a tactful victory, especially with Tyson's ultra aggressive style.. But if Tyson caught Ali it could instantly change..

Nope, and Ali would kill him. Tyson has proven to be the schoolyard bully, who if punched back goes bat@$* and loses it.

Considering there is a 25 year gap between the two of them ... NO!

Ali would have won anyway, he would be too quick for mike.

This. Ali would psych out Tyson just like he did to Foreman. Ali has the reach to keep Tyson from getting too close.

Ali had middleweight speed, reflexes, stamina and footwork with heavyweight power. A killer combination which is why he could adapt to any type of fighter. If he could survive three fights with Frazier and one with Foreman he'd survive Tyson. Also, comparing who they fought against I'd say Ali's level of competition was of a higher caliber than the average to mediocre heavyweights Tyson fought. People seem to forget that Tyson lost to a taller heavyweight who's not even a tenth of Ali's quality. Buster Douglas just jabbed, jabbed and jabbed at Tyson to keep him away then took him out once Tyson was gassed in the later rounds.

If both of them were to fight in their primes. Tyson would kick his ass. Then he would bite off his ear.

Tyson in his prime couldn't be rope-a-doped. Ali wouldn't stand a chance.

IMO, Ali is smarter, Tyson is stronger. It would have been interesting.
