What do you think is better? Remember that Better =/= amazing (even though everything muse has done has been amazing...) I think the their old stuff is better, but the Resistance album is still really good.

A mix of both really, i think his vocals are better on the newer songs but the riffs are better on the older songs.

Yeah, that makes sense. Plug in Baby has a really nice riff, but i really liked uprising's vocals.

I honestly don't think they sound that different from showbiz to Resistance.

Resistance they went bit soft with that whole orchestra. I saw them live a few months back and they are still extremely heavy when they play. I hope their next one they bring it back to more of the Origin of Symmetry stuff.

Its hard for me to say which I prefer. I got into them around the time of Origin, and although that remains my favourite album, i'm still a big fan of Black Holes & Revelations. I really do like Undisclosed Desires too, which is a world away from the likes of Space Dementia and Megalomania.

I like both - my favourite album is Absolution which is kind of in the middle. Love older songs like Citizen Erased and Showbiz but I like how they've developed and every album is different but just as amazing :)

Old. Resistance wasn't that great.

Absolution > Origin of Symmetry > Showbiz > Hullabaloo > The Resistance > Black Holes & Revelations So yeah, old. Although I still like all of them.

I think they were best during the Origin of Symmetry and Absolution eras. The Resistance was too soft and poppy for my liking, although I really dig the 3-piece symphony at the end. Apparently Matt's planning for their upcoming album to have some rave influences so it could mean some heavier songs.

Everything other than the Resistance is amazing. The Resistance is just insanely generic overproduced music, with pretentious song titles and lyrics that sound like they were written by a sophmore highschool punk kid who just listened to the sex pistols for the first time.
