The adam song by blink 182 because that was the last song I listened to with my friend before he died. Drunk driver hit him while walking on the side of the road.

Let It Be by The Beatles. It seems like a funeral song. And I do cry when I hear it.

Winter by Bayside. It's about their drummer who died in a car crash while they were on tour, it's really sad.

I totally forgot about that song. I'm going to go and listen to it right now...

And as for my answer, Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata brought a bunch of tears to my eyes a few days ago, I had forgotten how amazing it was (and then I listened to the Waldstein, Appassionata and Les Adieux later and found them to be much higher quality pieces... but still not as emotionally moving as the Moonlight).

"Hurt" by Johnny Cash.

I cried because it was just sad how much he screwed up Trent Reznor's song.

awww i know what it like to lose a friend i lost a friend like 2 years back to cancer but to tell you the truth it was a relief when he finally past because for the last few months of his life it broke my heart to watch him in pain i was there when he died and when he finally past away i look at him and he look so peaceful Evan through all the sadness it made me feel happy that he was at peace finally and out of pain .

if you want to you can kill me now. Take me Away for personal reasons and When You're Gone by Avril Lavigne. I dedicated that song to my deceased brother.

Trent Reznor preferred Cash's version.

None have. The only one that came close was Clann Zu - From Bethlehem to Jenin, which can be heard here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdt3n4FUzVM
Runner-Up: That Adagio piece whose composer I can't remember the name of but if pianist were here he'd point it out.
