Music Genre Vs Music Genre (Rap/Hip-Hop VS Rock/Metal)

So what do you guys like better? Personally I am more of a metal/rock guy but thats just my opinion. I do enjoy rap though. What do you guys like?

Tough call for me i love both (well rock... metal not so much) if i had to choose i would say i like hip-hop more. But in terms of the better musicians it would go to rock hands down as minus a few not too much rappers play instruments and they often sample beats from rock so.

I like rock. But, I lean more towards classic rock and alternative rock.

I'm beginning to like metal, but I'm always a hardcore old-school-hip-hop fan. Take that, metal/hip-hop haters.

hmmm, not gonna vote. I pretty much hate rock, hip-hop can be good and I like metal.

Metal. Although I do listen to alot of Rap/Hip-Hop.

I can't bring myself to listen to hip-hop (even the "good" artists) for any length of time. Rock and Metal are genres I listen to on a daily basis.

Rock/Metal without question. I despise Rap/Hip-Hop. But there are tonnes more cool genres like Jazz Fusion, Folk and Electronica. Rap vs Rock just isn't an interensting debate. Too typical and repeted over and over.
