Look up Daft Punk.
Trust me it is totally off the chain!!ThrillTorn

I just discovered Daft Punk a few weeks ago and although I like their music I can't help but wonder why they're so highly regarded. Their songs are just so repetitive (for the record I've only listened to the Discovery album and a few songs from Homework and Human After All). They're just the same lyrics and notes over and over and over and over and over. Like I said, DP is good but when I found out about the whole controversy about Human After All where people were complaining about the album's repetitiveness all I was thinking was "wait...what? Since when is their music not repetitive?". Of course, I'm not much of an audiophile so there's a good chance I'm missing something technical here.

Anyway, getting back to the OP's question I'd also suggest Dream Theater and Muse.

None of that is really demonic.

If you want demonic, I'll be happy to recommend a lot of goregrind.

No one can recommend you a band if you don't say who you like. Now looking at your list that you posted, I would just say go to any search engine and type in "Metalcore" and you should find some new bands that you can later look up.

I'm going to recommend some bands that I like and some bands that I don't like as much but still appreciate them for what they are. I'll also include a sample song listed to the side via YouTube.

Nine Inch Nails - The Hand That Feeds

Damnit. I can't stop listening to the song now that I've found a YouTube video of it.

The Bravery - Believe

30 Seconds to Mars - The Kill (a favorite of mine)

Boys Like Girls - Hero / Heroine

Korn - Coming Undone

Puddle of Mudd - Blurry

Evanescence - Lies

Seether - Hang On

Evans Blue - Beg (another favorite of mine)

Breaking Benjamin - The Diary of Jane

Papa Roach - Getting Away With Murder

The Red Jump Suit Apparatus - Facedown

Muse - Apocalpyse Please

Paramore - crushcrushcrush

Weezer - Undone

Radiohead - Creep

Atreyu - Becoming the Bull

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N54gFc2FpPM - Numb/Encore by Jay-Z and Linkin Park. Yes, there is a rap verse or two on here, but it actually sounds really good.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IcsVPis1iNs - More Than A Feeling - Boston. Great song by a great band. You've probably already heard it, but anything by Boston is good.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdd7WYe-7Tg - The Trooper - Iron Maiden. One of my all-time favorites, it's great classic metal.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBfjU3_XOaA - Fortunate Son - Creedence Clearwater Revival. Again, you've probably already heard it, but CCR is definately worth looking into.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G8CqkUrKFDk - Someday - The Strokes. Their first two albums are pure gold, but the one they released in '06 wasn't so good.

Too lazy too find more:P. P.S., my computer is being a piece of **** so it's not letting me make clicky links.
