Music Videos that actually have something to say?

Yeah, don't get me wrong here but most videos these days are pretty shallow in terms of what they are trying to express in them. Do I really care about Britney Spears becoming a pole dancer? No! Do I really care that mr. rapper of the month drives a $500,000 car and slaps womens asses? No!

What do you think are some of the better music videos past or dare I say present that have a powerful message within it? One that sticks out in my mind is "Do the Evolution" by Pearl Jam. I don't think they should have a meaning. You titled this "Music videos that actually have something to say?" like they are suppose to have something to say. These are music videos, it's not important for them to have a moral. It can be the band looking cool while playing live, it can be the band playing waist deep in the ocean. We don't need everything in life to be some scholars opium trip out with a hidden meaning, giving us a code to live our lives by.

But anyway, a music video that has something to say 'Just' by Radiohead. It tells you not to take music videos seriously.
