Ingame music...it's part of the experience.LJS9502_basicI agree. However, withsome games I choose to throw some music on in the background. Mostly with racing games and some sports games.

I just think it makes lost of sense to throw on some of your own metal when playing shooters. I won't put on music for the Final Fantasy games or old school survival horro games like Silent Hill 2 however. Their music is just too good and fits too well with the game for my own soundtrack to work better.
Well I only play one game.. Guild Wars and I do play my own music.
Usually melodic death, trash, or whatever
I always listen to the ingame music...blackleech
yeah the sounds of the game are sometimes useful. like hearing the footsteps of spies comming on the water and blowing up your chrages (Demoman FTW!)
Man I have to say, there is nothing like going bat**** crazy in GTA:SA when this song comes on.
I have this cd on my x-box, so this song came on the radio while I was driving once. I went totally nuts it was hillarious.
When the music of the game is crap i listen RnB music and other light tracks and some rock tracks when the game wants it!!8)
