Music you can't stand?

What music do you hate?

For me, I hate thrash metal (Metallica), death metal, black metal, rap, techno, and country.

Rap, Gospel, Metal, and Hard Rock.

I LOATHE gangster rap. Nowadays it's just all about sex and cars and money. That's not what music is supposed to be about in my opinion.

it must be hard to not even be able to tolerate metallica.. pretty mainstream stuff there. if u dont like metal, rap or techno, or country what do you like? ONLY classic rock? anyways.. i can tolerate everything.. and respect most everything ( minus bands that are just a media joke like jonas brothers and miley circus) .. but i personally do not like rap ( unless its very funny or has a great beat thatll get stuck in my head) , or country, also christian music, which tends to be country and soft rock... other than that i'm open to most music. i especially like rock, prog rock, all types of metal, jazz and classical.nimatoad2000

I hate most hard metal stuff, and I don't like most of the new age rock. Also, I despise rap.

Love classic rock, love 80's, love techno, and I enjoy some 90's pop (aside from the boy bands)

Then there's a few random songs here, and there I really enjoy.

Most mainstream music. Songs with growling music, seriously, most metal with them in would be better off without, with different vocals they would sound so good.

Pop, Country, Opera, mainstream rap, R&B, reggae, and most cIassic rock (Yes I said it) *puts up flame sheild*

I do like some classic rock, mellow rock, ect. The only rock I really don't like is where the singers are "screaming". I also like some Pop music, and techno (or smooth electronic). R & B isn't bad, but I don't like R & B that sounds like Rap.

I like many kinds of music. There are only a couple of genres that I really can't stand.

Any form of rock that involves skulls in any way.

Country. I like Neko Case (she is "alt-country", whatever the eff that is...) but the rest of the country makes me nautious.

Country, death metal, RnB, reggae and disney....*shudders*.

Anything with rap or screamo.

Most rap and some christian music. The very churchy old style christian music. Most christian music I find funny, I don't know why just makes me laugh sometimes.

I can't stand country of any kind, unless we're talking old school Highwaymen or Johnny Cash like rebel stuff...I also think Emo-Pop-Rock is awful (what the media calls emo nowadays, like Good Charlotte and AFI). Gospel is pretty bad too, as much as it hurts to say it. Oh yeah I forgot about most new mainstream metal, you know the kind that has the same cookie cutter screaming (Norma Jean, August Burns Red, and Lamb of God are decent though).

Singers like Jesse McCartney... Crappy pop?
"Gangster" Rap; about being rich an' such.
Not a fan of music with "growling" in it to the point that it has no rhyme or reason

I like about everything else. :)

EDIT: In the Top Played Songs thread, someone reminded me. Singers like Justin Timberlake would be added to the list of things I can't stand. Then again, it falls under the same catagory as Jesse McCartney.
