Rap. None of it's good. No matter who the artist is. It's people talking behind a beat. I just can't stand it.

That's about as ignorant a statement regarding music as you can get, really. There are plenty of fantastic rap artists and groups. The Roots are one of the most inspiring bands out there.
You guys are getting really uptight about this. I mean, you can tell me about how great some bands/artists are, you need to ask yourselves if I care.

He is constantly sending me music that I don't like. Mainstream, underground, outer-space, what have you, all sounds the same to me.
Metal, Techno, and 99%(ok, to be more accurate, most I've seen) of rap. Some country can be annoying when it's too "hick" or "redneck-y", but sometimes it's enjoyable. Woo.

No, when you live in Mèxico you get tired of hear cumbias in the bus every day, not that I would like them if I haven't had to heard them, but my tolerance to the cumbias maybe would be higher.

He has a lot to send you before you cover a good range of the rap/hip-hop spectrum.

I like metalcore :D. I hate the vocals of Metallica, the rest is ok.
metalcore isn't metal, its a joke. you dont like angry vocals? i mean if you cant tolerate james hetfields vocals you wont be able to get into ANY other thrash band, he has the most tolerable voice of anyone.. the only metal singers that actually have vocal skill are dio, dickenson and halford, and a couple others including dream theater's singer and queensryche's. Anthrax is more tolerable( old and current vocalist). progressive metalcore bands are pretty amazing, though so nice sweeping generalization

Uh, Metal is pretty diverse dude, Metal contains tons of sub genres that break into its own genre and so on. If you dont like a band, theres always another.

Uh, Metal is pretty diverse dude, Metal contains tons of sub genres that break into its own genre and so on. If you dont like a band, theres always another.
Metal isn't that diverse. There are subtle differences amongst the subgenres but it's pretty clear when you hear it that it's metal.
