Just curious how many musicians there are out here on GameSpot. I play several different instruments: piano, alto/tenor/baritone saxophones, guitar, cornet, and baritone. How about you guys? Anybody in marching band/drum corp?

Reasonable classical guitarist.jimmyjammer69You mean you don't play with chords? Neither do I. I have long fingers, but not much coordination... :(
AWESOME! I want to major in music when I get out of high school. I'm not sure what area yet, though. There are so many things I love about it. I thought about being a music teacher, but I honestly don't think I could picture myself doing that. Not because I wouldn't want to, but because I would just flat out suck at it. :)I mainly play electric and acoustic guitar, but I also play the bass and mandolin. Right now Im majoring in music production.

I'm probably going to go somewhere close to home. It really scares the crap out of me to think about going to ANY college right now. I'm a junior in high school and SHOULD be thinking about that stuff, but I'm not yet. I'm really nervous about facing the real world after graduation...I mainly play electric and acoustic guitar, but I also play the bass and mandolin. Right now Im majoring in music production.

I play the piano, I want to become a composer.black_cat19Composition is another thing I've thought about. I don't think I'm creative enough to do it, though. Arranging is fun, though. I wouldn't mind doing THAT full time!

I've been a musician since I was at the age of 6 (20 now so..long time). I am mainly a string player, but I play all of the following.
Guitar,
Bass,
Mandolin,
Sitar,
Keyboard (a bit),
Vocals.
EDIT: I am also a composer and a local session musician if that is anything worth mentioning.
