My dad got a coupon where I could buy 20 blue ray movies for free :P ... so I shall get the list from here + also googled a few of them but wanna know you ppl's choice too..
Let it be Action,Crime, drama, animation, comedy,Sci fi andNO Documentry.
It won't be released until mid-November, but this is what I'm looking forward to:
Can't go wrong with Looney Tunes. Can't wait to see what they look like with the Blu-Ray treatment.
[QUOTE="sammyjenkis898"]The Thin Red Line.Just-BreatheOr any Criterion disc for that matter Yeah. If he wants to show off the format, he should go with The Thin Red Line, though. The transfer is stunning.
If you do get it, make sure it's the "Ultimate Cut" version.Watchmen looks pretty ****ing sweet on Blu ray.

I don't have any blue ray movies. I think it's rather wasteful to spend the extra money on them.SunshaFor me it's all about the experience, sure you could down a cheaper route but half the experience is the quality of the picture.

I find more important things to buy. Like food and rent. Then I prefer to be able to afford games instead of expensive movies on the side.

Fair enough, although blurays are only a fraction more expensive than dvds.

I find them when they are on sale, the most I have ever spent on a blu-ray is 15 bucks and that was for the back to the future trilogy(yes all three).

Not to mention that the sound on blu ray is usually superior. It makes for a better experience, so yeah I think it's worth the 2 or 3 extra bucks.
The Lord of the Rings extended box set on Bluray. That is a must own collection. ferrari2001I bought the bluray pack last year, assuming that the extended editions were on the discs. But that was not the case. Also, the special features were 20 mins long and were on DVD's. I hate the profiteering attitude of Film makers. This especially pissed me off.

Plus tons of deleted scenes, special features and compentary on their own bluray disk. The theatrical blurays were just a gimmick that they released so they could finish the extended editions.
Lucas: I am altering the films, pray I do not alter them any further. well done[QUOTE="guildclaws"]

Im just mad because I had just finished buying the set when they announced the extended edition set. And what is it? $100? I can't afford that.[QUOTE="taylor888"][QUOTE="ferrari2001"]The Lord of the Rings extended box set on Bluray. That is a must own collection. ferrari2001
