My Birthday is ruined!

Okay so on July 31st I am turning 14 (haha, yes I know I am quite young :P) and I would really like to see The Hangover with a bunch of my mates. As you probably already know its rated MA 15 + (AU rating) and im not old enough to go see it, easy I said to myself, just get my mum to come along and sit at the back of the cinema in the movies, she wont mind! But no, its not that simple. For some stupid reason my friends wont be allowed into the cinemas because there parents arent there and that wreckes my whole birthday :(

Does anyone know what I should do? There are no movies out I want to go see at all. Any advice?

I'm under 15 and my brother took me and some mates to see role models. You shuold be able to get in, just get your mum to buy adult tickets.

Just buy a ticket for a another film and sneak in.

The rules are in place because kids like you will get all messed up if you watch a movie like the Hangover. Your fragile little minds can't take it, they will seize up like an overheated engine and explode like on Scanners, which is another movie you shouldn't be allowed to watch.

As others have said. Just sneak in. If it all goes to plan you got to see the film. Good birthday. If it doesn't, it gives you all something to talk about and laugh about in future.

Alternatively, go and see another film. I'm sure there is something just as good on, or do something else with your friends. Although since I don't know what attractions you have in the local area, I really can't recommend beyond something generic... like bake a cake together.

Just lie about your age or buy a ticket to another movie then sneak in. I do it all the time, it's easy.
