My Bloody Valentine - 3D

I'll be going to see this tonight, in all three glorious demsions. I can't wait to be covered in blood, gore, nudity, and violence. I know it'll be stupid, over-the-top, and ridiculous but I'm anticipating it as a really fun movie.

What do you guys think about it? I'll put up my opinon on it when I get back tonight.

Just be sure to leave this at home.

What's the nudity llike? I heard it some girl running around the hotel butt-naked, and you see her vag? Is that true?

The original is one of my favorite slasher films of all time and I've generally gotten a good vibe from this. I'll probably go see it in the morning at the beginning of next week.

This seems to be the general consensus. :)

I had to postpone my viewing until tomorrow night, btw. :( I'll let you guys know what I think once I finally see it.

The most surprising part is that critics seems to like it! :? Man the adds I saw for this movie seriously exuded run-of-the-mill-gimmicky horror movie :?munu9

I think even the creators of the film knew it was gonna be cheesy. They just want people to see a whole bunch of random **** in 3D.

I think the mistake people are making with this movie is that they assume it's taking itself seriously, which I'm 100% sure it's not. It's meant to be a brainless, dumb, blood, guts, boobs-filled slasher. In 3D!

This is all I'll say about the film...

We all know that this won't be winning any awards for writing, acting, or directing. This isn't an film of epic proportions. It's not a film for everyone; if you're not a fan of slasher movies, do yourselves a favor and sit this one out.

But if you are a fan and looking for a fun movie, you could do a lot worse than this. Not every movie needs to be high art.

I've always wanted to be in a 3D movie in which the audience acts like the idiots in 3D movie trailers. All throwing their popcorn and ducking and dodging and grabbing at the screen. :lol: Maybe I'll do it next time. :P

So I just got back from seeing it. It was pretty much exactly what I expected. The theater was completely packed and me and my friends got the late so we ended up stuck nearly in the front row on the side, which made viewing a little bit difficult and I'm sure took away from the 3D awesomeness. Nonetheless, it was a lot of fun.

Tons of kills, lots of dismembered body parts and gore (not to mention some boobies! Yes, boobies!) flying at you the whole time. It was brainless, had some laughable dialogue, some poor acting, but overall a really fun way to pass two hours.
