There forcing vaccines for diseases that aren't even contagious. Does that not seem a little strange to you? Calling someone a "Danger to Public Health" because they didn't get a vaccine for a non contagious disease?

I had to get a tetanus vaccine (maybe it was a tetanus booster) before going into high school. Because I wasn't a big crybaby I actually went and got the tetanus vaccine. It's not a big deal. Ok first of all he's not a crybaby he didn't even know, the law just came into effect today and 148 other kids in his school alone got suspended too. The whole point of this discussion was to point out how ridiculous it is that Government would force this especially for something non contagious.
. But the point is it shouldn't be forced onto people.
Yes it should be forced onto people. I am going to assume that this is a public school system that is government run, correct? The high school that I attended had almost 2000 students. Could you imagine how fast some of the other diseases that are included in the vaccine could spread from just one unvaccinated and infected person? I have 2 kids, a 16 yr old and a 14 yr old. I sure as hell do not want them going to school with thousands of other students if some of them are not vaccinated against communicable diseases.
I understand that Tetanus is not contagious, but the others are. So I do see your point but you should also see ours. Tell you what. Like it or not, no matter how much you complain, your brother is NOT going to go back to school and finish his education until he gets that vaccine.
Let me ask you this: Does your brother's right to NOT be forced to be vaccinated trump other students right to attend a safe, disease free school environment?
I don't have the answers to all of this. I just hope he does the right thing. But in this case, what is the right thing? Protect his civil liberties or violate that of others?
