if someone had a cattle prod, and you kept getting zapped for messing with that persons stuff, would you quit after a while? same logic applies to triggering her seizures. she'll learn. if not, then get a stun gun.
Normally, I would try to say something noble and tell you that you need to be more patient and try to understand how life must be for her and your parents who need to take care of her but in truth the way you feel is completely understandable and normal. I would hate to have to try and deal with a family member who was handicapped in some way. I would still love them as a family member but it would be frustrating to no end. The big problem for you is that there isn't much you can do about it short of leaving home, which you clearly aren't old enough to do (and survive), or getting rid of her, which is an absolutely heinous and inconceivable course of action which should never be condoned but has been carried out in cases I know of. Best option seems to be some sort of parental intervention. Talk to them in your most mature and adult demeanor and try to get them to understand things from your point of view so that they can take control of the situation and prevent such things from happening in the future.
The epilepsy has nothing to do with this. I think that she was wrong for doing what she did. She should have to pay for your controller. BUT you shouldnt have this mindset about people. Talk to your parents about it they should understand.

I really dont understand responses like this. Just cause she is your sister she doesnt get a consequence. If it was my sister she would have to pay for what she damaged. Epilepsy or not thats not even the issue. No sympathy for your sister in this case she should be held responsible.Yet OT you are going to have to put up with your sister you cant just dispose of people.

Epilepsy is actually a very annoying sickness to suffer from, be nice to your sister. My grown cousin has always suffered from it, and now a friend of mine sometimes gets epileptic attacks... It's not very funny to witness, the imagine being the one who's having them...

If it was just a regular person, I would be very angry at them as well. She has epilepsy!! That makes her life harder than yours, and maybe more confusing!! Why can't you get that?
That has nothing to do with epilepsey as far as I'm aware... My brother had a version of it for a while and takes pills for it and he has never suffered from low IQ or anger problems (he did used to have a concentration problem but he still managed to get into university with straight As)

my sister acts like she is bi polor (idk if she is). she's a pain in the ass all of the time, and says stupid stuff just to start an argument. she acts just like this. should i just bow down to her?
i dont feel sorry for the people who act like asses and then want to blame it on a dissorder and then use it as a way to get people to feel sorry for you.
