My father hasn't done anythig the whole day

He woke up after 12pm and then just sat down in the living room in front the HDTV and he hasnt really done anything since then, he cooked some eggs and thats about it, it was the exact same yesterday, He'll go to sleep very late again today I can tell and the whole house is a mess, trash everywhere and the dog left the living room completely messed up, my mother wont be back until tuesday, any ideas on how to get him up?

so its the weekend maybe he just wanted to do nothing i that thats what i did today nothing just sat infront of my new laptop watched some youtube videos posted on here tried to fix my ipod listeded to some music watched some anime played some chess and thats about it

you need to start taking after your dad ASAP, it sounds like your taking after your mom thus far and that path leads forever to endless hissy fits and pointless perfectionism.
