Dude you're my hero! That is AMAZING! Congrats bro! I bet you feel like you can do anything if you set your mind to it.
Mmm.. hawt
Anyway, I hope this motivates other people to do the same. I came close to letting myself go down that path, but luckily I turned things around when I started University. I never became overweight, I was just eating unhealthily and gaining unnecessary weight. Back to normal now, although I could do with more muscle rather than just skin and bones :P.
Congrats!! You are an inspiration to many people. I am also in the weight loss mode and have lost 40 lbs so far, but my goal is 80 to get down to 190.
It's tough for me lately since I just found out I have Osteoarthritis in my knee and can't run or go to Judo practice for a while. I just have to watch what I eat which is very tough for me to do.
If you remember my thread back in June I said I started out at 310 pounds, and in that thread I was 216 with a goal of 190.
Well, I've reached that milestone: original HUGE pic at 310 pounds

And finally me at 190 pounds:

Moral of the thread: Its easier to lose weight then what people think. Its about goddamn time for America to shake off obesity. Ask me for help if you need tips to lose a few pounds.

[QUOTE="wstfld"][QUOTE="rawsavon"]Congrats man. Whenever I hear stories like this though, I always wonder the same thing: How people let themselves get to that point...it astounds me tbh. -when they lose the weight they show it was possible (no medical condition or other issue making it impossible)...so why did they let it get that badrawsavonAll those fat kids in 2nd grade usually become fat adults. I've had a friend for a good 20+ years now, known him since before I can remember and he has always been fat. Its not like he let himself go when we were in kindergarten. I agree that accounts for many people...but there are many more that become fat post HS
Since graduating last summer, is it wrong that I'm so anxious to see who does?

there are a variety of factors, but ultimately you are correct...looking back, I was always a big kid, but husky big, not you know, fat big. I know why I got this big (depression, poor eating habits, environment, death, work, college, and poor self discipline to name just a handful), but the fact that I let it happen is what hurts the most.
I used to be an athlete for Christ's sake
Grats! That is not an easy feat to accomplish but you seem to have done it well, and only in a couple of months no less! Good for you!
