My girlfriend and her first video game experience

This weekend, I thought I was going to die with happiness and laughter. My girlfriend, out of the blue, says..."Can we play some video games?" Now let me explain something about her, she is all into fashion and is definitely a girly-girl. She never sees me play my 360 while she is over because I think its rude and such...but she knows I have been gaming since regular Nintendo.

After she asked me, I searched through my collection of games and we tried them all to see if she liked any of them. (Note: She hasn't ever played a single video game her whole life). After looking through them not one game I owned was easy enough for her to pick up on. (I own Oblivion, PGR3, FNR3, Guitar Hero 2, Saints Row). I then loaded up the DiRT demo and let her race around. It was so funny! After 30 seconds of racing (if that is what you call it haha) she was like turning the controller and really getting into it. She was so funny! 

Do you guys have any suggestions on game ideas or do you have any funny stories about your girlfriends playing video games?

Get her a PS3 and play Motorstorm :D .Since its pretty much the same as Dirt, and you can make it so you have to turn the controller :P .

I've had alot of luck with girls and guitar hero, they might be hesitant at first, but in the end they love it...and you. From there perhaps some Viva Pinata, LEgo Star Wars (co-op) or Live Arcade games. I can't say I'm too familiar with the 360 lineup in regard to games women/girls may like.

Start small, nothing too complicated, and I'm sorry if that sounds rude against women, it's not meant to be. Any person male or female who hasn't played games before needs to be gently introduced into our geeky world.

My girlfriend is really a good gamer and shes really into sports-games. It's awesome when I play with here but it sucks when she kicks my a$$ in Madden 07.
