everywhere I go to buy food(fastfood), they now always ask if I want napkins or ketchup or they just don't ask and they don't put either in the bag. I went to McDonald's and they did the same, I went to Pizza Hut and they did the same...etc. What's going on here foo?
Everything is tied into oil. It takes oil to make the ketchup or napkins, oil for the tape to close the box, to ship the napkins, and on and on. The food, and for that matter most all of the consumer products market hasn't caught up yet with the drastically lower oil prices. They will soon.

it does take Oil to make the tape adhesive, actually.
Probably a small attempt at trying to "do their bit" to save the planet. The fact that they cut down forests to create open spaces for their beef farms is irrelevant, I suppose.

it does take Oil to make the tape adhesive, actually. Yep, been a packaging salesrep for almost 10 years. Everything I sell is tied into oil.
