i really only use my laptop, and for the last week or 2 my internet has done the following.

1. i am within only 10 feet of my router, and i only have 2-3 bars

2. i get disconnected more frequently for no reason.

3. whenever i sign on to pidgin, my IM program, i get this message that says my AOL screen name is logged on somewhere else.

what do you guys think? i havent adjusted anything that could cause this as far as i know.

Are you getting disconnected from your router? Or is your internet breaking?

I say you smack it, like really hard, and tell it to "Stop" in a serious tone.

Seems like your router is the problem, not your ISP.

If you don't get a full signal sitting right next to your router then that's probably the problem.
