You really should go to the baby death thread a page back and look at the type of responses you will get. No one will give you the condolences you would like. Btw, i feel sorry for your's, and your friend's loss.
tell him you're sorry and that you'll be there if he needs you then give him some breathing room.. soon he'll be overwhelmed with people sending him their condolences and respects and prayers.
Give him some space to mourn by himself.Dont bring it up if you can help it, when he's come out a bit more ask him if he's okay and that, but dont go into it too much ... only if he brings it up should you talk about it.And I'm sorry for his loss, its terrible to lose someone like that.Good luck to him.
Just give him some space, but let him know that you're there for him. He probably doesn't want a lot of people in his face right now, but you shouldn't disappear either. In time, it'll all go back to as normal as it can.
