take some meds
Meds do nothing to help a person with OCD actually function.
They're part of a scam that involves you funneling hundreds of your dollars into companies so the "doctor" gets a big paycheck in the mail.
[QUOTE="Mr_sprinkles"]scratch the other side to make it symmetrical.martialbullet
that's a great idea :D
Being obsessed with symmetry is a common symptom of OCD.
lol if you can come here and tell us exactly what your problem is and specify that it's because you have OCD... then your mind is clear and OCD isn't causing you much trouble right now.
When OCD kicks in you can't state it that clearly, you barely even see your issues.

My OCD never functioned like that.
And I didn't exactly have a "light" case.
scratch the other side to make it symmetrical.Mr_sprinklesThis sounds like something i'd do. Best advice we can give.

There is no cure for OCD. There never has been.
And OCD doesn't work that way with everything.
So ****ing what. If you're still immature to the point where you'll get mad about your mom scratching your phone (BAAAAWWWWW), then you're probably just an angsty teen who's mom likely paid for said phone in the first place. And even if I'm wrong on that, you're still the one who will look like an idiot. Because it's just a ****ing phone, and its just a ****ing scratch.

You don't have OCD, you have no idea how confusing it can be.
I've had it for years and I can't explain it properly.

That's why I deleted the post, genius. Cause I didn't catch that the first time I read it. Or did you not notice my post was deleted seconds after it went up?

Do you, by chance, have OCD? I hadn't picked up on that quite yet.

I have OCD like this as well. I hate it. I can't even play an MMO, because I'll lay in bed for hours obsessing over the littlest details of leveling my character and what not. Its like that for everything, whether it be games, schoolwork, or whatever. I understand this guy, hes not mad at his mom, hes just freaking out that his phone isn;t perfect anymore. I rarely even carry my phone in my pocket, because I'm scared of scratching it.

OMG! bsman00 is right! If there's no cure for something, it's obviously just in their heads! Why haven't scientists come to such a simple conclusion!
:P

Instead of flaming you for being ignorant and using caps, I'll kindly tell you to look at the title of this thread again and maybe even google the words: "Obsessive Compulsive Disorder"

So... he has OCD, his mom scratched his phone and he rushes to Gamespot to post about the horrible ordeal? Lol, blog it, nobody cares. If you're insane and obsesss over the tiniest of things, what advice are we supposed to give you? The best I can come up with is "Stop having OCD", which is kinda unhelpful.

Because he has OCD. It isn't greed, its a mental disorder. Plenty of people have to deal with it all the time.

Hey I'm not saying he should rush to GS to post about it (frankly, I don't care what he does. Not my problem.), but I just hate when people act like they know what they're talking about when they obviously don't. :|
