Because OCD makes it hard to ignore faults on certain surfaces.

I had the same problem.

Use an open flame to melt the plastic. The scratch will fill itself in as the plastic re-solidifies.

take some meds

Meds do nothing to help a person with OCD actually function.

They're part of a scam that involves you funneling hundreds of your dollars into companies so the "doctor" gets a big paycheck in the mail.

lol if you can come here and tell us exactly what your problem is and specify that it's because you have OCD... then your mind is clear and OCD isn't causing you much trouble right now.

When OCD kicks in you can't state it that clearly, you barely even see your issues.

My OCD never functioned like that.

And I didn't exactly have a "light" case.

There is no cure for OCD. There never has been.

And OCD doesn't work that way with everything.

So ****ing what. If you're still immature to the point where you'll get mad about your mom scratching your phone (BAAAAWWWWW), then you're probably just an angsty teen who's mom likely paid for said phone in the first place. And even if I'm wrong on that, you're still the one who will look like an idiot. Because it's just a ****ing phone, and its just a ****ing scratch.

I have OCD like this as well. I hate it. I can't even play an MMO, because I'll lay in bed for hours obsessing over the littlest details of leveling my character and what not. Its like that for everything, whether it be games, schoolwork, or whatever. I understand this guy, hes not mad at his mom, hes just freaking out that his phone isn;t perfect anymore. I rarely even carry my phone in my pocket, because I'm scared of scratching it.

Oh and to answer the TC, just accept the fact that its scratched and try to concentrate on something else. In time you won't even care if its scratched anymore. That always works for me.

I know how you feel. I have OCD too and when my PSP got a dead pixel it bugged the hell out of me, and still does to this day, but it got so bad i started throwing my PSP about and hitting it. The only thing you can do is try to ignore it. It'll bug you for as long as you have the phone and i don't know of anything that could fix a scratch, but if you're anything like me then it wouldn't help anyway.

Wow, you'd think OCD would extend to your typing and grammar skills. But, seriously, it's a scratch. I don't see what some people's obssession with their phones comes from. It's a piece of plastic that let's people that you don't really want to talk to track you down wherever you are.

Hey I'm not saying he should rush to GS to post about it (frankly, I don't care what he does. Not my problem.), but I just hate when people act like they know what they're talking about when they obviously don't. :|

I don't have OCD but I know how it feels when things like that happen. I'm not overly worried about it, but I hate it when my gadgets get scratched (I've had my DS Lite since launch and it's still in pristine condition). The phone is black so probably a lot easier to cover it up or even remove it. I've not searched properly but they make scratch removers for these things, the only ones I can find are for iPods though.
