My other screen to work

Hello.

Right over christmas I bought a laptop. I plugged in my old monitor to it, and it worked. But some days ago, I unplugged it
and some later, i plugged it in agian, but now it dont work. Vista/windows seems to notefy tat it's beiing plugged in, but the monitor
just are black.

I have vista (buuuu). any one knows maby where in vista i can like get it to work ?
