So, today my lock ended up not working when i tried the combo. So i go ask my parents if they have any idea how to open it, and they say that there was an emergency key that came with it. See, the lock was originally theirs, and they bought it. I never even knew i had a key and they blame me saying i lost it. This just happened, and im just downright sick of it. Things like this have happened...over....and...over...again. The first to blame is always me, regardless of who did it. So...What do i do?

Don't tell them they are right just say "okay" and walk away and then go rant about it on the internet.

No offence, but that's a petty thing to spend time and energy to complain about on the internet. Relax.

Well, again, its been happening a lot lately and its getting tiring. Plus, their logic is ....interesting. I remember not long ago that they thought people who sleep an hour late can be short for the rest of their lives (Yeah, THEY believe everything on forums.)

Best advice is sit down and have a talk with them. If your parents aren't willing to, then **** them.

No offense, and I don't know the whole situation, but my guess is you've done a quite a few things in your life to lose their trust. Whether it's something big, or lots of things small, like forgetting to clean up a mess. Parents remember all this crap, and hold you to it, even if you've gotten a lot better.

Actually no, im in top classes in my school, getting good grades, dont do anything bad, etc. Even though im stereotyping, my parents are probably like this because im asian. Honestly, anything below a 100 and i get yelled at.

They are preparing you for the business world. Some of us luck out but many experience what you experience everyday, from their boss, boss's boss, etc. Where you may get grounded or something, others lose their jobs/promotions. They are good parents in that regard no?

Your frustration is clouding your memory. Seriously, just breathe deeply, think happy thoughts, and you'll remember where you put the key in no time.

You just feel that way cause you're a teen, and your parents sometimes have to take measures, that you feel are unfair, in order to raise you correctly. Suck it up and just wait...life is not always fair.

I'm going to take a wild guess and assume you was born after the PS1 was released.

You may think your parents suck over something simple as that but you haven't seen anything yet. Just ask such people as the Jacksons (the famous ones). You'll look back at it when you graduate and move out and think to yourself it wasn't that bad compared to the ones who suffered real abuse. I had a buddy I went to basic training with who's parents kicked him out when he was only 14.

really? that is your definition of bad parents? They feed you, clothe you, send you to school, don't abuse you, and give you luxuries like internet and video games, yet they are "bad"

Well, seeing as you have helped the most so far, i want to ask, is this normal? What i mean is, when i was very young, i was in the back seat of a car, and i was pushing the windows down by accident. After a while, my parents got angry so they stopped in the middle of the road, opened the door, and tried to literally carry me out of the car. It really scared me i remember, and i ended up resisting "enough" to make them go back in, and drive away. I honestly want to know, i thought it WAS normal but my friend the other day (about 5 or so years older than me) went and told me that it ISNT normal and that its very serious.

Theres more to parenting than what your post says yes what happened to your friend was terrible but the psychological factor is an enourmous part of the parenting situation.
