It comes and goes with me and it's very slight even then, but it's at it's worst when I try to sleep or get a bath... I think the worst thing is I have barely done anything to sustain hearing damage but the doctor reckons some people are just sensitive to loud noise.Â
I take it you got yours by hanging around loud speakers?

I knew most of the local bands back in the day and would help them set up and sound test and shit, and I was usually just off stage while they played so if any technical issues came up I could jump on it. Never used ear protection.
Thing is, the tinnitus didn't hit me until years later. Even then, it was tolerable. It wasn't until this past spring that it really kicked in to the point of being constantly annoying, and I have no idea why then. I haven't cranked my music up loud in years, and when I wear earbuds it's low enough that I can still hear everything going on around me.
Every once again it will abate for an hour or so, but then it comes back just as loud as ever. I'm trying to get to a specialist to see what's up, but that's taking longer than I thought it would.
