Aah, yes, the early teen years. (Trying to look cool while in the back seat of mom's Dodge Caravan, next to the car seat and "Baby on Board" window sticker.)Welcome to dating while still needing a ride. It doesn't really work well.

Er, I actually did date one who found baby crap to be a major turnon. It was... tumultuous? Yes, I think that's the right word.
What do you mean by "move"? I thought it was only your second date? :?
Well by my second date.....er never mind. Yeah, I was under the impression that the second date was generally considered to be where the prenups are signed.[QUOTE="iBear-"]
were her parents there the whole time?
did she ask to bring her sister or did she seem pretty uncomfortable with them like it sounds you were?
you'll be cool just don't shy away from the moment when you get your chance basically

i dont know if her parents were there the whole time but they were waiting for her outside when we finished up. And i was under the impression that it was going to be just the two of us but she brought her sister with her. And yes I could very clearly tell that she was uncomfortable too. Before her sisters boyfriend got there, she was sitting next to her sister while talking to me. But then when her sisters boyfriend got there and started making out with her, she came over to my side and stood next to me for the rest of the game and kept taking nervous glances at them.
ah you're fine dude
The great outdoors, my friend. A better aphrodesiac than anything artificial. So what would be a good idea for a third date that doesnt cost too much? Bowling was fun but im effing broke now my allowance only goes so far(heh).

Well, I kissed my girlfriend the same day we started dating (as soon as she agreed to date me, actually), but we didn't have sex until a whole year after we started going out. I thought that's what the TC meant by "move", for some reason...

Going to see a movie that has been out for a while at an odd showing time was always a good way to get some alone time. More than once the girl and I had the theater to ourselves. :D

I make my move on the first date, which is what you should have done...........
weaselstomper50
thats a good way to scare them away!(no rhyme intended)
Not if you do it right ;)....You should have told the parents to leave and come back in like 30 seconds, then you could have got your "move" done with

"Excuse me Mr. and Mrs. Williams, but would you mind driving around the block once so I have time to feel up your daughter?"

Anyway, why should there be an "absolute max"? This kind of stuff isn't set in stone and shouldn't be rushed or delayed. Just let things naturally develop at their own pace; it will happen when it needs to happen.
Kissing is definitely first date.....Well, I kissed my girlfriend the same day we started dating (as soon as she agreed to date me, actually), but we didn't have sex until a whole year after we started going out. I thought that's what the TC meant by "move", for some reason...

there really isn't, just kinda giving advice to the kid he should try and get the kiss rollin, because if he gets a third date it's so obvious she likes him.
and yea kissing is more of a first date thing but he's 15 so w/e
What move are you referring to? I can certainly think of worse dates than this. Why don't you just call her? As far not being to make your 'move', that's nothing to be upset about.
[QUOTE="II_Seraphim_II"]what is this "move" u intended to make?ghoklebutterHe wanted to kiss her. Where?

What? That is SO not second date. :|
On second date you should probably be going for the elbow or, if you're feeling REALLY adventurous, the knee, but honestly I think that's pushing it.

"Well how will we know when you are done there son"
"When you see your daughter standing alone out front with a look of disappointment on her face and me nowhere to be found"
if she was really interested in you she'd want to be alone with you and wouldnt keep asking her sister to come along.EMOEVOLUTIONMaybe she's nervous. Or her parents wanted the sister there......
