$100, then?
How big are the cups?? What is the time frame?? 24 hours??
I could do that without even trying. It;s 11:00 here and I'm already on my third 64 oz water.
you will die

you might die from that. there's such a thing as too much water. you'll drown your cells.quiglythegreatIt doesn't drown the cells. It dilutes the cells. The cells in our nervous system need a certain percentage of sodium. Drinking too much water messes that balance up.
Maybe you should research first how much you have to drink before you get water poisoning. It might not be worth $20.Engrish_Major
Worth repeating. If you assume a cup = 250 mL, then you're talking about 11.5 L of water in a day.
Actually, your body probably could take that -- when out on operations, Canadian Forces soldiers are required by regulations to drink about 1 L per hour. But the point is that they are out in the field, giving their bodies time to absorb and expel the water as needed.
If you tried to do it all at once, you'd take ill, almost certainly.
What are you waiting for, TC? 2 cups of water per hour. You can spend 1 minute drinking while your body has 59 minutes to absorb it and whatnot. :|kingdreThat's if he stays up all night which in itself is not worth doing for $20. Is the TC 5 years old or something? I can't believe $20 is so much to him/her that they are willing to do this all day.
"Nearly all deaths related to water intoxication in normal individuals have resulted either from water drinking contests, in which individuals attempt to consume more than 10 liters (3 gallons) of water over the course of just a few minutes,"
You're looking at about 11 litres in a whole day. Not a few minutes. No harm there.

It's the principle that his sister would be down $20. It's more than worth it.

That's up to him and how badly he wants it. He can drink 3 cups per hour and still have time to spare.
is it hot outside where you are, right now? chill outside, and then time it so that you can do 2 or 3 glasses of water each hour. are we talking about drinking glasses, or an actual measured cup of water? because 3 "cups" of water, really isn't that much, but if you are trying to drink 46 Big Gulps, you may regret it.
i think you can do this. and be sure to take pictures and post them. i want to see how you look after being up for nearly 24 hours drinking water.
maybe your sister just wants you dead
so for $20 it should be worth it for her
at least get that in writing and hand it to someone else, that way when CSI comes they'll see that your sister was the one that killed you, or else she'll just play dumb and say "I didn't know what was happening"
...how big is the cup?
Makemap
Hey, I didn't think of that. Find like the most novelly small cup you can, or maybe even a Dixie cup would suffice. That, I believe, is called "pwnage."
Easy money. Why 46 cups, though?SpidersRMe
My sister said that u should drink 4 to 6 cups of water in a day and my dad thought she said 46.
