Have I failed her because she turned out to be such an immoral slag?

So it's time for some tough love. Ifterror is what it takes to set her straight then so be it. Remember... if someone won't listen to you make them fear you. It comes back to leaders and followers. If she can't lead herself down the right path if she is following the wrong people down the wrong path someone will have to lead her up the right path.

She might just be dumb. That's nobody's fault. It's just inevitable. Stupid do stupid things because they are prone to stupidity. The only thing can do is delay their destiny. They are doomed.

You are a very narrow minded person if you can't believe people gain morals from a Christian life. The same applies to all other religions that encourage peace, kindness etc.

Nobody GAINS morals from religion, they either have them or they don't. Now they may discover them (in which case its a failing on the part of their parents) but if they have them they do and if they don't at most religion will endow them with a fear of hell that makes them behave. Thats like saying football "builds character" and just as false.
