Humans have been around for a few million years. Dinosaurs have been gone for 65 million years. Do the math please. And this "theory" is pretty much BS. Armour is for protection, not cowardice. Our weapons becamse more deadly, and required better armour to defend against it. I think it's pretty stupid to have an army undefended whilst fighting, don't you? Defence is just common sense. How do scientists really know that the bones theyre studying are that old? The only way to really know is to get a time machine and travel back to the exact point the beast died. Its all a BS guessing game.

Scientists do have reliable ways of detirmining the age of a fossil or artefact. Most people seem to think they just guess or something.

[QUOTE="HeadHunter123"]well ya know they had to make armor strong enough to defend the weapon they're facing. so basically it's an equation of "Armor=Weapon" meaning Kevlar vest = Gun, Shield=Arrows/Sword, etc.-Karayan-Nuclear bomb = ? Catapult = ? Nuclear bomb = Anti-nuclear missiles. Catapult = Big...nets.

seriously, how old are you?
They can see how old bone fragments are by carbon dating
Well, i didnt actually read your posts because i gave up on the first sentance. But this is my theory on the evolution of people and why we are becoming pansier.
In the past, before medicine, when we were cavemen, the weak would die. For example, if asthma existed in the days of wearing lion skin, then they would have died in a matter of years because they would have pretty much suffercated to death. In theory, all the asthma sufferers would be wiped out, leaving the stronger people to survive. The asthma "gene" would then, after thousands of years, been eliminated and asthma would no longer affect people.
However today, we have medicine to prevent the affects of asthma. However, more and more people are becoming sufferes of asthma, thus, the human race physicaly is getting weaker. Over time, probably 60% of people will be sufferes, which is kind of sad.
The fact the people rely on medicine itself is making us weaker. Bird Flu and all those new bugs are here to destroy us. Normally, the fittest would survive and they would have babies who would also be strong against these bugs and so on until we became 'superhuman', pretty much. But hey, id rather be smart then strong.
I'm rather excited in the idea where this will lead humanity, will this mean that we will have to alter our genes to save ourselves or will it all be solved in some other way? :oWell, i didnt actually read your posts because i gave up on the first sentance. You use carbon dating on recent items (I think up to around 40,000 years), then different elements for older items. As time goes by atoms decay and form different isotopes, you determine the proportions of one isotope compared to the others, and you can estimate age based on the amount of time it would take for x number of atoms to decay into what is currently there.

Same thing goes for society.
Back in the good old days, if you committed a crime you got drawn and quartered or beheaded... if you were lucky. Offend the king and you spend the rest of your life in the dungeon.
Now days, you commit a crime and all you get is counseling, easy prison time, and "rehabilitation."
There were some people in Germany a few decades ago who tried to get back on the right track, but everyone just came down on them. I can't remember what they were called...
I just picked the romans because every one has heard of them...and screw the pelopenesians.biocunsumer

Humans have never been more healthy than they are today. A few hundred years ago living past 40 would be seen as a blessing.
*Insert serious comment calling the OP silly and his theory dumb here*
I found it amusing. *claps*

Seriously, if someone is actually evaluating and criticizing this "Theory" then they need to get outside :P It's obvious its a joke topic from the first paragraph. I found it entertaining.

yes, but we are only living to the age of 90 due to modern medicine.
