You know, there are different types of people in this world, and there are more then just two. I am a person who believes that in order for a show or anything to be sad. The emotions have to be going through my whole body and it has to feel like I am actually experiencing what I am watching or listening too.
Some people don't think like that. I also believe that music drives emotions more. Without the music, there would be just silence without any type of feel or sensation that would be engraved into your mind.
I was currently listening to a song called Last Smile, and it is japanese, and I also believe that their culture creates the best emotional music that I have ever listened too. I don't know, but it seems like American music just doesn't have that extra tug or push to drive my emotions over the edge and to their limits.
Few examples; Gurren Lagan, Zero No Tsukaima, One Piece, Bleach,...........I don't know about Naruto......, Vampire + Rosario, and many others and even Fairy Tail. You know, it's crazy how someone told me that American Shows were so much sadder. To be honest, I believe thats false, unless your talking about some of the oldies from back in the 1900's.
Now, my friend loves Heavy Metal, and I don't. He says that it makes you feel powerful and like a God and tot he point where you can destroy or do anything. He also says that its a way to represent your feelings. He also grew up differently from me. He never had the luxury of having someone take good care of him, like I have. I have a great and caring grandmother who played with me, took care of me, and helped me out when was sad, back when I was very small.
So, he had to find something to make him feel better. I love classical, passionate, loving, caring, soft and beautiful music. However, it's all about interpretation. To be even more honest, if I hear a person scream random lyrics that don't mean anything into a microphone, and the beat is all over the place, I would be puzzled at why these so called "Musicians" are playing their instruments.
But then I realized, their aspects of having a fun and joyous time is different, same thing with religion. There is a reason why there are different religions, and it is because we all grew up in totally different areas thinking that whatever knowledge I was gaining in the current area was the truth, and that any other religion is false. Also, they would try to push their own religion to other people thinking that it's better then their current religion.
I despise some of those people. Why push something on another person if you knew they grew up with what they learned, and so your just going to re-teach that person everything, and that person is probably going to mix it with their own, creating a whole other version of religion. It makes sense after a while.
So, people love different types of music depending on where their birth place was located, how they lived, and who their role models were. Last thing I gotta say is, I will hope for the best for the next generations to come.
