My thoughts on the Britney Spears situation.

All I'm hearing about right now is how stupid Britney is for not following her court orders. Everyone seems so amazed that she wouldn't get a drug test, wouldn't get a driver's license, etc. to get her kids back.

She blatantly refused to follow every single instruction given to her by the court, and even went somewhat out of her way to do it. Today after losing her kids she went shopping, went tanning, went to drink with friends at a hotel. Sure, she might be on drugs...but I don't think she's that cracked out. Apparently it hasn't occured to anyone that maybe she doesn't want her kids back. How obvious can it be? She clearly wasn't ready to have any in the first place. It's not like she will have to struggle to pay child support...so why not just let them go, forget about it, and start over?

Yea, it's horrible, but I think that's what she's going for.

who knows what she's thinking; you could be right, she could be trying to let it go since its seemingly out of her hands and inevitable... but at the same time it's not like she couldn't have avoided having a child- let alone two, if she wasn't ready.

so to me she seems just immature and selfish, or incredibly depressed & nutso.

either way, i'm a fan.

Well, the children might get better parents than Spears, as sad as it sounds.

I don't think she should have had custody in the first place. She needs time to sort herself out and looking after kids at the same time just isn't possible.
