Not bad of a list, though I think a better thread would be "Your top pick movies for each year". Though that's just me.Bloodseeker23Dating back to 1888, I would do that, but it would take a few hours.
I saw Taxi Driver a couple weeks ago. I honestly tried hard to like it....but it just didn't do it for me.chrisrooRI went in with no expectations, and it became my #1 favorite movie. I hated Goodfellas though, which is surprising to most people.

Hated Goodfellas?
Actually, I thought it suffered the same flaw as Fight Club, where to both movies I loved the first half, but the second half turned so weird all of the sudden and I hated when it got to that stage. Fight Club and Goodfellas, respectively, started to go downhill when
The "Overthrow the goverment" plot and the coke subplot came into play
Nice list. I just bought Taxi Driver on blu ray the other day and it looks amazing. To make the great purchase better for some reason it came with a $20 off your purchase on MLB.com
Well, big thumbs up for including Eraserhead. Only 3 films on there I would include in my top 20 aswell, but that's more then I can say for most lists like this. :Praven_squaderaserhead is a masterpiece imo
I personally couldn't stand Eraserhead. Most silent movie I've ever seen. I don't need constant action and explosions to keep my attention, but Eraserhead just went way too far to the other end of the spectrum..And yes, I realize dialogue isn't the focus of the movie. I guess I'm just not really into surrealism to begin with and I really don't like anything by Lynch outside of Twin Peaks and maybe Blue Velvet, so I'll just peg it down to personal distaste. I know quite a few people who like the movie.

thoughts?rediscoolcolorI dislike your taste and this list, with the exception of a few movies i would include in my list too. No offense of course, that's just my opinion. :)
