I have had this laptop for about 3 years and I quit the job whereI had got it from a long time ago. So is there any way to make a work computer go back to what a normal laptop can do without the restrictions?

er... what? Does your computer have restrictions on Downloads, documents, programmes you can use or is it that your computer will be restricted becuase you can't use the programmes you used for work due to passwords or something?

Every time I have an installer or something it says "operation has been cancelled due to restrictions on this computer" nothing to do with passwords though

I think it must just be programs

If you have an extra copy of any operating system lying around, you can reformat the hard drive and install the OS.
