I had an ingrown toe-nail that was infected and to kill the infection I mixed a little bit of Dettol with some water and soaked my foot in it (this was on Wednesday night) Throughout Thursday the top of my foot was red and kinda itchy but I figured it's just a rash and that it's just from the Dettol and decided that I wouldn't use Dettol again. I got home from work around midnight Friday night and on the way home I was telling my mom about how I had to walk like a gimp because of the redness on my foot.
Once we got in the door I asked if she wanted to see the redness and took my sock off, saw a huge swollen fot with blisters all over and was like 'uh oh that's not good' then my mom started say we have to go to the hospital. At the hospital they gave me some pills to help with the infection and they told me it's an allergic reaction to the dettol and that my feet being in my work shoes for the 7 hours just brought out the reaction more.
I would upload the pictures from when we first saw it but I have no idea where my camera cord is...so this is my foot while I was cleaning it and changing bandages this morning, I took it on my cell that's the quality is crap. On the rest of my foot there's tiny blisters scattered but the toes are the 'main area'
