imeem was like the youtube of music and video's completely legit stuff sometimes ahead of even the retail market for listenings in. with real bands throwing there stuff on there. we got britney spears circus album from her pr people a full 3 days before anyone ahd seen it on a store shelves. it was simply an epic place. you could make playlists and etc. now.. it wont be there anymore and what took community submitted content a few years to build was torn down overnight.

I think it's bull because it's like advertising people's music. People listen and find the name quicker then buys their album.

I don't really know anything about this, but I'd assume it has something to do with the popularity of last.fm and facebook.

I am thoroughly annoyed as well. It seems my acount is gone, I don't want a myspace account at the moment and I really liked the layout of Imeem. I even had a lot of songs uploaded, comments written, favorited songs and everything! Imeem had Medal of Honor European Assault songs, Splinter Cell Double Agent, Red Steel....now they're gone. I checked and myspace doesn't have them or the songs I personally uploaded which I do not have even on my computer anymore. What a moodkiller.BradHummr
