nah but i got trench foot.

What is trench foot? Like gangrene? What years were you there? A few of my friends' Dads are Nam Vets, I think it's interesting that all of them don't like to talk about it.

trench foot is when your foot is constantly wet for long periods of time (like a week) and foot just starts to peel off i did not have a very bad case and most vets dont talk about the war because they had some real bad experience i didnt thank god

The Vietnam War was from the 50s to the 70s. So that would make you guys pretty old, to have fought in that.

I watched the Nam Vets march in a parade with the Desert Storm vets, and they were cheered - I thought it was high time that happened, it was good to see Nam Vets get some recognition.:)

i went to fort benning georgia and i served from 72 to 75. and was part of the 1st infantry divition, 3rd brigade combat team, 1st batallion 26th infantry regiment.
