Name one thing that SLIGHTLY annoys you. Don't name something that annoys to the point of having an urge to gun down puppies with an AK-47.

I'm slightly annoyed when people don't capitalize words that should be capitalized, such as the words American or Caucasian. I mean, come on, who puts "american"?:x Even spell check is annoyed by it.:P

I get slightly annoyed when my wife says something really, really stupid, when trying to relate to me. "Oh, is that Call of Duty?" (watching a war movie). Bless her heart though. It's only slightly annoying at first, but it turns out as a sweet act.

I get slightly annoyed by grammatical mistakes, spelling mistakes, etc.

I dunno', it just makes it easier for me to read.

My job is rather easy to understand, though I can see that being a mild irk. I don't think irk can be used as a noun, until now :|

t the store I run, it's irksome when someone asks how much is a DVD when it's clearly marked on the case. It's a little annoying, but I still politely show them the price. It doesn't bother me as much as it used to anymore.

Yeah, conversations usually go like this:

Them: "So, what do you do at Microsoft?"

Me: "Well, I work on the Silverlight team."

Them: "Oh."

Me: (Realizing they have no idea what Silverlight is.) "It's a platform that people can use to build internet applications."

Them: "Oh."

Me: (Realizing they have no idea what "platform" or "application" means.) "Do you know what Adobe Flash is?"

Them: "Not really."

Me: "... *sigh*"

People who pull up to a stop light and move 6 foot forward in 3 increments before the light turns green. It's almost time for the AK-47.

Seriously though, it's not even a big problem, just a mild annoyance. But it's something that i think a lot of people can't really relate to.

Not even done with malicious intent, for a lot of people there's just a strong incentive to categorize people by obvious traits. And most people you see are obviously white/asian/black/hispanic/etc. But if you happen to be a mildly brown guy with vague general features, you're hard to categorize in such a way. I suppose you would end up looking like just sort of a weird and random combination of who-knows-what. So people see you, can't easily and obviously categorize you, and you get way too many people asking you what you are. You know, so that then they know how to categorize you.

And I'm not even talking about friends or acquaintances. It's not exactly common, but sometimes I'll get random people walking up to me and asking about my ethnicity just because they're curious. I'm talking about people who I've never met.

And it's like, if you can't tell, then it doesn't really matter. And if you haven't ever even met me, then it REALLY doesn't ****ing matter. Who the hell walks up to a random stranger in the mall, and asks about his/her ethnicity? That's a weird ****ing question. What the hell kind of person actually does that?

I hate it when people DON'T put a space before an elipses like this...

Also, (since I can complain about it without being modded again) I get annoyed when people post a link on GS and have the new content loaded into the current window (default option). To get it into a new tab you have to right-click. GRRR. Please please PLEASE put new page instead.

Lastly, I don't like it when people say umm before everything.

Music elitists that think complex music automatically equals good and more basic music automatically equals bad.
