I vote for the NCAA tourney...so much excitement in the last two minutes. And is it just me or do college players hit bigger shots in MORE clutch situations.

Kind of really off topic but was reading this blog: http://matthewchin.wordpress.com/

NBA playoffs. Mainly because I know the players are better and every time I watch college all I can think when a player does something nice is "Do that in the NBA".

I enjoy watching the NBA more because they're just better players. I just want them to cut it from a 7 game to a 5 game series. I think it drags on for to long.

NCAA, and that goes for football as well. Just like junior hockey vs the NHL, these kids are playing to get noticed, not to ink another multi-million-dollar contract. It's much more exciting, if you ask me.

I'm a fan of both the NBA and College ball, but there is no comparison here. The NCAA tournament is the greatest event in all of sports, and nothing matches the excitement of March Madness (that is.. when my team makes the tournament). It doesn't matter if the NBA players are more skilled- you just don't see players and teams play with the same heart in the pros that you do in college, at least 90% of the time. NBA players are a bunch of overpaid babies. College players are playing to win for their teams, for their schools, for the possibility that they might be able to make a living at it someday. I don't know what else to say. March Madness is far superior.

Easily the NCAA tourney, it has way more passion than the NBA playoffs has.

Considering I despise the NBA and think the excitement and glorious unpredictability of the NCAA tournament is something that all college sports can only hope to replicate (and this is coming from a college football fan), my choice is obvious. The NBA season consists of too many games and too many big-headed "star" athletes for my tastes.

I'd say NCAA. One chance to show that you deserve to go on. You have to bring it every game to stay in. One thing about college basketball is that it is ore about the raw skills of each player, without everybody having to be 6' 5. Stephen Colbert describes the NBA as a sport in which "A bunch of 7 foot-tall monster freaks leap about on trampolines while swinging their massive elbows like cudgels and running four steps without dribbling before take off from their opponent's foul line to slam dunk." "Each version can be appreciated on its own merits: the NBA for its display of superhuman abilities and larger-than life personas, and college for its easy-to-understand gambling format"

The "clutch" shots are balanced by utter failures. Texas missed several free throws in the closing minute which cost them the game, not very "clutch". The shots they do get to get off are often easier because the defense in college is significantly worse than caliber that is in the NBA. I really enjoy watching both the NBA playoffs and NCAA tourney though. If I had to choose to watch one it would be the NBA playoffs though; legends are made there.

The Dance over the NBA playoffs any day. Thursday was by far the best opening day in a while although the Rebs lost. But I guess I can root for UNI to bust 100 mill + brackets saturday and make me feel better about them beating UNLV thursday. I actually am very proud of the Rebs this season and if it weren't for that 3 pt shot all the way from NY the game woulda gone to OT.

NBA playoffs when it gets to the later rounds because the the last seeded teams are plain old crap unlike in other leagues. NCAA is more fun from the start though.
