Need a Book Recommendation (at least 150 pages)

Bleak House looks interesting, but 900 pages is way to long. Enders Game looks okay but I'm not really a fan of Sci-Fi books. I prefer mystery or thriller or adventure books.DJG24992

Phantoms (Creepy book by Dean Koontz).

tell me about it. i ahted the last book but loved the first 2. Harry Potter does have a pretty interesting idea. but it just doesn't deliver as a fantasy franchise overall. i think Philip pullman is far more imaginative.

Agreed. I hate it when authors tack on a crappy feel-good ending that runs contrary to the entire plot just for the sake of a happy ending. Harry should have died.
