I plan on buying a camcorder soon, and I found this bundle on BestBuy. For those who have camcorders, is this a good choice, or should I find something else?

Depends on what you are doing. I use a mini DV for filming skateboarding and the quality of the video isn't great for that. I prefer using a good Hi8 camera.

It really depends, what do you plan on filming?

An important feature IMO is firewire, it's a output I think that really makes it easier if you want to transfer to a computer in the future... this doesn't seem to have it, I'm not sure.

camcorderinfo.com is a good place to research camcorders. They have a review for your camcorder of interest here.
