need help hope im in the right place

Hi guys

Apologies if im posting in the wrong area.

My Son has what is still a really good 42"panasonic plasma on his wal, he uses this for gaming and now wants to upgrade from his 360 to an xbox 1.....but the plasma isnt HD. The one we have in the living room is but i dont want to let him game on that one. I know any signal would be downscaled if he used the xbox 1 on his current tv, but is it doable? I assume you can get converters? and if so what do i need. His tv has the usual array of av scart and vga connections.

Would really apprecaite some guidence on this,

Pretty sure old plasmas could play 720p so he'll be fine

my guess is it is one of the old 540p enhanced definition plasmas.

i knew a guy that bought one of those years ago.

all the guy needs to do is check if it has hdmi inputs or component inputs and use those.

edit: bad news, i'm not seeing xbone componet cables for sale anywhere.

you may have to buy this then buy a set of component cables to hook it up if there is no hdmi input on the tv.
