Thats seriously the most used movie name in OT. I once made a topic asking about a movie that took place on an island and there were pirates and monsters and I got Star Crystal as a response ... lol and I still don't know what movie it is.

Once somebody made a topic asking about a movie involving aliens. Most users said Alien, but one user said Star Crystal. All the "Alien" responses pissed him off, so he went on rants about how it's obviously Star Crystal. This enticed users to say "alien." It then became a GS meme.

There was this one kid's movie I haven't seen in a good while that had robot flying saucers things but it had regular alien dudes aswell that we're short.

The first thing that comes to mind in which earth battles saucers and I'm pretty sure you don't see any aliens is "Earth Vs. The Flying Saucers" that came out in 1956. You might want to give more detail though as there are quite a few aliens and saucer attacking Earth films.
