It probably has a tremolo...push the strings in through the back.

Loosen strings.

Cut strings in half.

Push cut strings out against the bridge.

Push new strings in the opposite direction than above.

Feed end of string through tuning pegs.

Tighten strings to desired note/pitch.

Cut excess string from head of guitar.

Huh? You get rid of the old strings and put new strings on. Don't cut the new strings, cut the old strings. I don't understand your question. Cutting the old strings just makes it easier to pull it out from the little holes on the bridge. Then you feed the new strings from the opposite end of the bridge and then feed it through the tuning pegs and tighten.

Of course you can get the strings off in one piece but they are easier to take off if you cut them because the string is all knarled up where it wraps around the tuning peg and it's a pain to try and thread that end through tiny holes. You don't have to cut them but that is how I do it. Why do you need to keep the old strings in one piece? The bridge I am talking about is called like a stop-bar tune-o-matic or something like that. It's used on electric guitars.

Need help. Strings broke at the very bottom, all six (yes, I know, that's really improbable but it happened anyway). Can't push them through, nothing to push with. Help!
