I lent someone something that belonged to me, because it was broken, but still functional. It took me a while to remember to lend it out to him, and I finally did. Now he won't give it back. How do I deal with someone like this without running off to a parent or something? I've made it clear that I'm serious but he doesn't seem to care, and even goes as far as taunting with the fact that's laying somewhere in his house. Any suggestions?

Yeah, that was sort of the obvious thing, but I'm too old to be doing something like that. :(

So, just snatch his cell-phone or something, then tell him its in my house? I really want this said item back, as it was a gift.

Yeah, do that if you think you can get it.

Either take something of his or take a running kick at his groin. Both would be ideal.

If you snatch something of his, this would make you no better than the other person..

How old are you? Why do you need to ask us what to do we don't know your situation / how long you've known him / how much of an **** he is. If you're that serious about it beat his ass and take what's yours. People like him need to learn their place - get off the forum and do something about it.

Do this, but beforehand, make it seem like you don't mind the fact that he has it. Then visit his house and steal something small but valuable.

Or you could go with FunkyLlama's idea.. I can't see why you wouldn't, regardless of age.

But it would get his thing back.
