My movie rental list is getting short. Anything good you can recommend, any movie from around 1999-2010 since I've seen just about every classic. I don't mind sub titles if the movie is exceptional (Like Tale of 2 sisters and Pans Labyrinth). I love horrors and sci-fi mostly, but I watch most things. I tend to watch films with my brother a lot and we are both somewhat appreciative of film, so it's not like we are only into the Michal Bay blockbuster stuff.

P.S You might have trouble finding one I not seen, but I'm not going to mock you for trying. Thanks!

Might be hard to find but there is a great Australian movie called Breaker Morant about guerrilla tactics in the Boer War. Though it is a thinking movie so not the best if you just want some entertainment.

Not really sci-fi/horror but my three favourite films of the 00s are Mulholland Drive; 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days; and The Wrestler, though I imagine you've seen them. How about The Fountain?

Added 'Ink' and 'The Fall' to the list, thanks Engrish_Major. Also added The Wrestler, I forgot about that one, didn't see it in cinema but meant to watch it on DVD. Added The Tripper because I never heard of that one, well done horrors don't normally slip by me.

I seen the rest other then The Fountain. I'm not sure on that one. Mullohand Drive is a damn right weird film but that's what you'll expect from Lynch, I always watch his stuff just for lynch factor.

Let The Right One In, horror and vampires except it's actually good and very well done. I'm not a fan of horror but I loved it which says alot.

there hasnt been much in the way of contemporary sci-fi and horror, but i will recommend moon (even if a sci-fi fan has probably already seen it). beyond that, some good films that havent been mentioned yet are the man who wasnt there, in bruges, the white ribbon, a serious man, and synecdoche new york.

The Prestige

The Fountain

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (I finally saw this for the first time a few days ago!)

A Scanner Darkly

Johnny Mnemonic is a great science fiction / cyberpunk film if you can get past the bad dialogue and acting

The Cable Guy isn't a science fiction, but it's a wonderful dark comedy.

Falling Down (Also not sci-fi, but interesting nonetheless)

Timeline

Sphere

The Time Machine (You've probably seen this one already, but I'd suggest seeing the 1960 version as well)

Grizzly Man (Not sci-fi, but one of the best documentaries I've ever seen)

The Time Traveler's Wife (Not much action but still interesting)

Titan A.E.

A.I: Arificial Intelligence (I'm sure you've seen it but I couldn't not include it)

Signs (You've probably seen this one as well, but I had to include it also)

Dreamcatcher

Knowing
