Watch all the Star Wars movies, but make sure to skip all Anakin scenes it Episode 1&2. Rest of the Scenes are good.

The full Lord of the Rings experience, all three films, extended versions. Around 12 hours or so, that'd wipe out most of the trip.
extended edition versions of Lord of the Rings will take over 11 hours to finish, and is a great experience to watch one after the other
The Lord of The Rings Boxset: Extended Edition will last you eleven and a half hours. Not only that, it's a great movie.
Wow surprised no one said the godfather series....that'll take alot of time and kills LOTR by a long shot IMO
